Hi - I think I can help with a basic, natural make up lesson.
First of all, make up is meant to ENHANCE your beauty, and not to change it. Buy a good make up brand. It lasts longer and is less harmful to your skin's natural balance. I reccommend MAC as the product is good, colors are true, it lasts a long time, and it is affordable. While this is not an advert for MAC, it works best for sensitive skin ... trust me.
The key is to BLEND WELL. Start with the following:
Always start with a good moisturizer. Want a beauty trade secret? Vaseline and water, blended well, is the perfect way to keep your skin firm, fresh, and looking younger.
Always wash your face before re-applying make-up and before you go to sleep.
1. Foundations and concealers: these are not meant to change the color of your skin or skin tone. Foundation and concealer are used to cover blemishes and/or blend dark areas. Choose a shade that matches yours EXACTLY. It sounds to me that you have ivory skin with a pink undertone. Ask to see 'natural and ivory' shades at the make up counter. Concealer is thicker and is used to cover pimples, dark circles, birth marks, etc. Apply first with a sponge. Blend. Then apply foundation.
Apply foundation with your (washed) finger tips or a sponge. Always sweep down. Then lightly circle with your fingers, to blend perfectly. If you buy the right shade you will never have to worry about the orange 'chin line'. Blend over the chin and a little down the neck.
2. Eye liner pencils: Brown works best for all eye colors. Avoid black as it is too dramatic for day and/or beginners. Do not oversharpen. Blunt the end by tapping it on a hard surface. Close your eyes and 'sweep' the pencil lightly accross your top lid, from the middle to the outside. Open your eye, look up, and repeat for the bottom lid. Use a sponge or thin brush to blend.
3. Eye shadow: I do not know your eye color. Try the following.
Blue eyes? Taupe and brown for contrast. Dusty pinks to highlight.
Brown Eyes? Greens, violets, and navy for contrast. Light pinks and blues for highlights.
Green Eyes? Taupe, grey, and browns for contrast. Ivory and cream for highlights.
Grey Eyes? Smokey charcoal for contrast. Pinks for highlights.
Violet Eyes? Smokey charcoals for contrast. Shimmery grey for highlights.
Apply the contrast or darker color on the lowest part of the upper lid from inside corner to outside and sweep up. Apply the lighter color for highlight from the 'crease' and upward, under the eyebrow. Blend with a bigger, whispy or fan' brush from the inside out. With a sponge, sweep up lightly from the bottom outside corner of the eye to the brow. Apply a light sweep of the contrast color along the bottom lid, below the lashes, from the inside out, to blend the eyeliner.
4. Blush: Lightly apply pressure to your cheeks on your cheekbones. With a circular motion, rub your cheeks 10 times. This is the color you want for blush. Choose a shade as close to this color as you can. Use a blush brush to apply. Start just outside of your nose and circle your cheek bones with a sweeping motion toward your ears. Only apply to the areas that naturally 'blushed' when you applied the pressure.
5. Mascara: MAC makes a great shade of black-brown. Do not curl your lashes. Looking down, start at the inside of your eye. Sweep the wand from the root of the lash to the end. Do this only about three times to avoid a clumpy, 'made up' look.
6. Lip Gloss: choose something that makes your lips shine and tases good!
7. Body spray: Finish with a spritz of your fave scent.
Take your body spray and lip gloss with you. Re-apply these if you feel you need a midday 'fix' !
And that's it! If your make up application takes more than 5 minutes after about a month of practice - you are wearing too much!
Have fun!

I suggest applying brown mascara, brown/pink eyeshadow, clear lipgloss, and if you need it, light brown eyeliner. Apply the eyeshadow first, or else your mascara will have eyeshadow on it, and it looks trashy. Take your eyeshadow, and with your brush make even strokes all the way down and back multiple times until you can see color on the brush. From the inside of your eye(closest to your nose), dust the eyeshadow going out until the end of your eye. Then, dust it up your eye so that when your eyes are open, you can see just a line. Now for mascara. First, curl your eyelashes. Open it, and push the clumpy part of the wand against the rim of the tube. Take the wand and put the bristly part to your lashes. To prevent clumps (this is one of my beauty secrets), take an eyebrow comb to your lashes, running the comb from your eyelid out to the end of your lashes. Now liner. Open it, take the point, and run it across where your eyelashes and eyelid meet. Apply multiple coats until desired look, on both eyes and both lids. Now gloss. You can buy clear, scented, flavored, sparkly and who knows what else. Try it first, and then use that all season. To apply, squeeze the tube or put the wand in the center of your bottom lip. Smooth out to one side, then the other. If needed, dip wand/squeeze tube for more as needed. Repeat on upper lip, then smack and roll lips 3 times. As for makeup brands, everything but lip gloss and lip stick is great from Revlon. Everything is great from Covergirl, Shisedo, Mary Kay, Sephora, and Maybeline New York. Whatevers on sale, but make sure they match your skintone. Department store makeup counters usually can give makeovers based on your features and skintone for a small fee, and sometimes for free.

The 'bare minimum' for brunettes - mascara, blush, lipstick or gloss.
For blondes /redheads - Eyebrow makeup [ if needed ], mascara, blush, lipstick or gloss.
Match your brow/mascara color to your hair color.
Start with powder blush - easier to learn to blend.
Start with a lighter shade of pink or peach until you are skilled enough to use deeper shades [ plum, berry ].
Any popular drugstore brand is good - ask your friends!
Well-groomed eyebrows go without saying!

keeping it simple is the key.don't go too dramatic on the whole face. example. if you want a smoky eye look, keep the rest of the makeup simple with a light blush and a sheer lip gloss. make sure to moisturize your face daily. if you have any blemishes use concealer or a cover stick to hide them.

Since you are young you should just use some powder and maybe curl your lashes...a little mascara is you want. If you put too much, it looks gross. And guys don't find it very attractive.
