Depends who i'm talking to. In my personal life, i'm blunt, but in the business world, a lot of times i have to sugar coat things to clients, if i don't i would loose clients, and that wouldn't be good.

I'd say it depends on the situation.....sometimes bieng blunt is the only way to get through to certain types of people. At other times bieng tactful can come in handy.........there are other times when nothing should be said at all-this is the part that I used to get hung up on! But now that some time has passed I can generally come to a conclusion about when to speak up, shut up, get up, get out (haha) or whether a lil bitta all three are necessary! This oldtimer once told me.....there are usually three sides to every situations: yours, theirs, and God's.........LOL1&2

I'm blunt, but the older I get I think that it's more prudent to be a little more diplomatic. There are ways of telling people the truth without making them hate you.
