Good question. If a Christian blows up an abortion clinic, even though Christians are largely anti-abortion, their leadership condemns the act of terrorism. If they oppose the action that they don't believe is Islamic, why don't the Imams condemn the acts of terrorism? Don't know, but I guess bin Laden and other terrorists are the radical arm of fundamentalist Muslims. I can't think of any other reason.

Wahhabists don't make up a majority of Islam, just like David Koresh's sect in Waco didn't make up a majority of Christianity..

Apparently, the imams see him as the good guy. It would probably be dangerous for one to break away and issue a decree like that.
