You did not say what you wanted the upgraded Internet Explorer for. Most people like to upgrade bexause it is safer than the older versions and more stable. I do not use Internet explorer, I user Mozilla's FIREFOX. I find it has great features and is very very hacker-safe. I would suggest you download it and try it and see if it isn't even better than I.E.

Now back to Internet explorer... anywhere you try to download it usually will bring you back to Microsoft. As most users will tell you Microsoft willusually do an Authenticity Check before you get to download upgrades. If your version of Windows doesn't pass this Authenticity check, you will NOT be able to download the product.

you need to have a a legit copy of windows as well as what he said. download it off a torrent site.

It's probably an illegal copy and failed the WGA test.

If not illegal, call Micro$oft.
