Space would be the first consideration. Not only do angels get pretty fair sized, they need a bit of room to claim a territory. They are of course cichlids, but mild mannered as far as cichlids go so no tank mates that are very small or very passive. Angels can also be a little more touchy that many other common aquarium fish so a good stable tank is a real plus for them. Here's a link with more info to consider:

Hope that helps

Consider that they grow pretty large and a 30 gallon is really the minimum for one.
Consider that they are territorial toward each other, so to keep more then one you should first learn about their behaviour and how they pair up and become aggressive toward other Angels, and how two unpaired angels will often begin to fight over the tank. Research research!
Consider that neons are natural food for them in the wild, so they shouldn't be kept with these or similar sized fish.
Consider that they are most comfortable in a well planted environment.
Consider that they have long fins and are calm and not terribly fast, so are best not kept with nippy, active fish like tiger barbs.
That's the basics, you'll find out more when you do research on these fish.

That depends a lot on what kind of fish you already have, if any. You don't want to put an angelfish in with anything that tends to nip fins. Angelfish can get along well in a community aquarium, if with the right kind of others. Best thing is to ask your local aquarium store, letting them know what you already have.
If your tank is empty of fish, then the normal things you would consider with any other fist... water temperature, tank size in ratio to number and type of fish, food, etc.
Best of luck.

Angelfish are mildly aggressive so check with the fish shop before adding any new fish.
