Yes and no. Yes because he was able to establish the NBA as the premier basketball league in the world and, in the process, paved the way for more international players to play in the league. No because he commercialized the league too much and he tends to pamper certain "star" players who'd done nothing for the game of basketball.

Yes. I personally think that he is just the right person to lead the nba. He is just a great leader and he resurrected the nba. he keeps changing with the times and adjusts to the situation and comes out on top. i dont know with the players, but they have to thank him for all the millions they earn, because if not for stern commercializing the nba, they would not be millionaires.

he was also a disciplinarian. that is needed in professional sports especially when you would like to commercialize it.

he is a visionary, the product (basketball game) had to be refined, reinvented, fielded with new talent (international players) because that is what is needed to be done.

he is also driven. when he sets his eyes on what he wants to do, he goes out and gets it..

obviously i like him. i admire what he has done to the nba. every company or institution should learn from him and the business model he made
