I believe some people are better than others by their

Morals
Ethics

Not by their superficial music, clothing language, vocabulary, education or behavior or good manners!

I believe that some believe they are better than others, and those who believe they are better than other, usually are the worst people around. However, I believe that every person has the potential to be a "good" as any other person, and manners, education, none of that has anything to do with it, a man holding a PHD will stand aside and look on in horror as a homless man with no education will jump infront of a bus to save a little girl in the street. Its the person that makes them good or bad, not the education or manners.

Factors like education, behavior, good manners, tastes in music, clothing, etc, etc, language, vocabulary etc. do not make you a 'better' person. They simply make you more educated, more well- behaved, well- mannered, tasteful, stylishly dressed and well-spoken. None of those things has ANYTHING to do with who you are deep inside. Your conception of 'better' is an illusion.

Yes, I do believe that some individuals are better than others, not by what they have, their education level, or the music they choose, but by the way they treat others.
But I do not believe that being from a certain race/religon makes you a better or worse person. The best and worst of people exist across all races and creeds. I like to take people as they come.

i don't believe some people are better then others but i defenitly believe some people have a better ora about them.
By saying ora i mean they may have a stronger drive, they may have a brighter aspect of life, ect..... But that doesn't make them a better person, some people have just had a rough life with no one around so they have no passion for life. But they to can gain a stronger sense of self.

No, I don't. Europeans as a whole tend to be a bit ethnocentric, and that's something we just can't have in a global society. People have different ways of doing things that work for them, and we just have to learn to accept it. And here's another thing--just because someone dictates something is "good taste" doesn't make it so. Things like that are subjective, and cultural. In my culture, we tend to prefer bright colors, whereas they're more subdued in others.

And then there's the European concept of manifest destiny. I can't stand that, especially as a Native American woman.

Yes, I do. And like you, I believe that people are better than others in specific areas. No one can be better than someone else in everything.

I agree. A person is better or worse than another based on their actions & such. However, I do not believe that a person can't change and better his/her self it they want to.
