Liberals are not vested in America's defeat any more than are conservatives or moderates. I presume you are referring to the situation with the Iraq war. Try to understand that different people have differing opinions on which course is the best concerning that war. Apparently you think that the notion of bringing troops home quickly translates to 'investing in America's defeat. Others disagree with you. Quite simple.

By bringing down AMerica as much as possible they will be able to convince us that socialism under their lead is the right way to go.
