try the odoreater. if you already have tried it, tell youre brother to have a good hygiene on his feet.
tell him that he must dry his feet before putting in any sock. wet feet under cloth will proliferate bacteria and may cause the foul smelling odor. also tell him that dont let his feet get wet all the time.

Buy some new shoes. Good ones not the $10.00 Wal-mart kind. The cheaper the material the worse the odor. Keep feet clean and dry. Use athletes foot cream because even though it may not be fungus the medication has other properties that can really help with those stinky-pinkys. Keep feet dry and use foot powder every day. Wash shoes regularly. I don't dry mine in the dryer but you can. I prefer to let mine air dry but that takes at least 24 hours and lots of times more. Just be sure when you wash the shoes un lace them as far as you can or if they are easily relaced take the laces out. This allows more cleaning action down inside where the odor actually lives. Also when you take them off for the night spray them with lysol. Take a shower wash and rinse well. Bottoms, between toes, everywhere. Rinsing and drying feet and between toes is very important!!!

I am very sorry to hear about your brothers feet smelling. All this happens when you do not rub / scrub and dry your feet properly after washing or having an bath before Wearing wet or socks and shoes when the feet are wet will lead to all sorts of problems such as this one he is having right now.
All he has to do is learn to keep his feet dry and clean before he wears his shoes, apart from this he has to buy him self a new pair of shoes as the old ones have absorbed all the bad odor of his unclean feet.let him keen his feet soaked in salt water for few minutes and dry them well and only then wear the new shoes. He is also advised to use odour spary in case of need to avoid this situation.wishing you an happy and comfortable journey with your brother in the car.

My husbands feet are the same way. Two things we have done that work. Soak them in vodka (pricey but effects last a little longer) or soak them in rubbing alcohol (cheaper and kid-friendly) buy some rubbing alcohol put it in a bowl and have him soak his feet in it for about 10 minutes. depending on his sweat glands and his stench level this should keep them at a no - normal stench level for 2 -4 days. Once the stench starts to come back, do it again. I am not sure if my hubby continues using the powders or not after doing this but it may help the effects last longer if your brother does.Good luck!

you can try a mixture of baking soda and baby powder or buy him some foot powder that is made for people with athlete's foot. that is more then likely what is wrong.
If he does have athletes foot. If you can, get him to soak his feet in clorox water for about 1/2 hour, ,make it pretty strong. it will eat the fungus off of his feet, and he will peel for a little while, but it will kill the fungus. his feet get wet or sweat alot, more then likely, make him get clean or new shoes atleast one time a month. if he wears tennis shoes wash them once a month and dry them in a dryer. tell him to wear clean socks at all times. that should take care of it, athletes foot is contagious, so make sure that when you are taking a bath or shower in the same bathroom that you clean the bath and the floors before stepping on them bare footed. cleanliness is the most important key, once you get that stuff to heal, then you have to keep it clean. Good Luck,! My brothers were that bad also, but they grew out of it, I think! have a wonderful and odor free day.. bye.

Try a vinegar bath...soak them for 20 minutes in white vinegar.
You can also try anti bacterial soap.
He shouldn't be wearing the same shoes every day either, he needs to let them breath for a day before wearing them again.
You need to get rid of the shoes he already had...there is no saving them..even with hot water.
Make sure his shoes are real leather it will help them breath.

Try some peppermint foot spray and Dr. Scholl's also has some good foot sprays that can be used as well. You can also put his shoes into the freezer at night... I know it sounds weird, but it does kill off the bacteria in the shoes.

Throw away those smelly shoes! Buy some OdorEaters foot powder. Tell him to always wear clean socks - NEVER barefeet in a shoe!! New shoes + clean feet + clean socks= FEET THAT DON'T REEK.

I was wondering if he's ever tried that foot powder by OdorEaters. You sprinkle it in your shoes, in your socks, between your toes...kills odor on contact. My daughter has wicked smelling feet..worked for her.
