People are giving you many good suggestions which I won't repeat.
I just want to add that SMALL frequent meals is the key. A little bit every hour or two, just keep nibbling all day long. Try to keep something in your stomach all the time. When it gets empty, and then you eat, that's when a lot of people throw up.
Fluids are important, even if you can't eat. Try licking Popsicles or Italian Ice. Again, it's a little at a time.
Some people find that Sea Bands really help. It's a wrist band that puts pressure on a certain point, it's acupressure. It works for some, not for others.
Good luck. I hope you feel better soon.

This is the worst part about being pregnant! Ive been sick the entire time, unable to eat crackers. The two things I can eat without getting sick, is a baked potato, and grahm crackers. Also, dont drink while you eat. For some reason it will make you lose your lunch real fast! Instead, drink between meals, and sip dont chug. Also, try not to every let your tummy get empty. Oh that makes the sickness so much worse! Keep a snack next to you at night. One more thing, there are prenatal vitamins your doctor can prescribe to help with mornig sickness. Good luck I hope I helped you! Congrats on the baby!
PS- STEER CLEAR OF GREASY FOODS! THAT WILL MAKE YOU SICKER THAN A DOG!

This is the most horrible thing to be dealing with when you want to celebrate and be happy! But just remind yourself that it's just temporary, and most women are over this stage at about 12-13 weeks. Everyone is different. The most common, tried-and-true remedy is saltines or oyster crackers (the little round saltines you put in soup). Take a few before even getting out of bed, and keep a baggie full of them with you wherever you go, nibbling frequently. Another good dry choice is dried unsweetened cereal, like cheerios or chex. Next, a lot of women have success with high carb protein snacks, like dry roasted nuts, or granola bars. Other women swear by herbal teas with nausea-soothing properties like chamomile, mint, ginger, or wild yam root. Check in your local health food store. Also inhaling mint is an aromatherapy for nausea. Vitamin B-6 supplements have been proven to help, and you can buy commercially prepared B-6 lollipops called 'B-Natals' at a lot of pharmacies now. Another option is asking your local pharmacist for a "sea-band", which is an acupressure wrist band that people use for motion sickness. Finally, a chewable antacid like 'TUMS' can sometimes help, but always ask your OB or midwife what they prefer you use. I wish you all the best.

Satline crackers and ginger ale work the best for me also try some fruits I realized that if the first thing I eat in the morning has some knid of salt and then a few minutes later water and fruits I will be good for the rest of the day with no throw up cause I love my food. If your taking prenatal pills it could be that try taking it with alot of water and food. I have to take those pills with something filling and a full glass of water and I have no problem later on. If I don't have a dinner filling I make a glass of milk is taken then the glass of water a few minutes later and the pills. Try different things and see if they work for you everyone is different and try to understand ur body and the baby. Example I hate peanut butter before prenancy now peanut butter and a jelly sandwich with a glass of milk is what I eat before I go to sleep so I dont wake up in the middle of the night hungry like crazy.

You know the secret here is to make sure you do actually eat. A lot of women make the mistake of not eating, thinking the food will make them feel sicker but you actually get sicker if you dont eat.
I always found ginger helped with my stomach and eating a couple of ginger cookies with a glass of water BEFORE I got out of bed in the morning helped to settle my tummy. Ginger is known to help with nausea, and having something in your tummy straight off certainly helps.
The other thing I would recommend is avoiding fatty or fried or rich foods when you can. It was always the morning after eating something like that, that I would really pay for it, by feeling sick.
Also a lot of smells make you feel bad so avoid cooking anything that you dont like the smell of.
Good luck with it and remember the morning sickness will pass and then for the middle months, you should feel fabulous.

The only one who really knows is YOU! What works for one won't work for another. I got a lot of relief from tomato juice and grapefruit juice. But I craved these juices. I couldn't think of anything but having these juices. lol With one pregnancy I wanted dill pickles, with another strawberries and pineapple. Everyone is different. Respect your body. If something sounds good, eat a little bit of it and see if it stays down and makes you feel better. Crackers sometimes help the nausea. Just nibble on one and see what happens. I have heard that ginger helps. I think you can get it at a health food store and the market has it too.
I sympathize. Good luck, it will all be worth it when the baby comes.

Eat any food that sounds appealing and stays down. Avoid spicy, greasy, or fried foods [especially at bedtime - they don't 'recycle' well the next day.]
Try small, frequent meals - sometimes your stomach gets upset because your blood sugar is too low. Carry your favorite hard candy in case you can't get to real food.
Don't drink when you first wake up - have your favorite dry cereal or toast/muffin with honey BEFORE you even get up in the morning. Wait about thirty minutes, and then drink your juice, tea, or water. Try not to mix liquids and solids until you feel better - should be soon!
Take your vitamins/iron at the time of day you feel best, and with food in your stomach.
If all this doesn't help, tell your doctor.
If you get so sick that you are dehydrated, you might have to be admitted for IV fluids. I was sick forever with my first and he weighed over 9 pounds!

I know a lot of people have said crackers and I agree. I would get so sick though that I could only sit halfway up in bed and then have to vomit. So I started keeping the crackers and bottled water (drinking didn't bother me) on my nightstand. Every morning I'd only sit up where I could eat 3-4 crackers without choking! Then I'd be ok. Also, I'm a southerner so I ate a lot of grits. Hmmm, grits. I'm hungry now.

I was one of those rare cases where I threw up the entire pregnancy. I weighed less at the end then I did at the beginning. One of the things that I could keep down were frozen grapes. They are really high in sugar so they don't freeze all the way. I couldn't do 7-up or any of those sodas. The only thing I could do was totally ice cold water. There were days though when even that wouldn't stay down. Good luck to you and keep your chin up. This will pass! At the end of all this, you will have a beautiful baby!
