And a year from now (heaven forbid) another big terrorist attack happens on US soil, what will the Anti-War people say? Hypothetically speaking, they got their way and we abandoned Iraq to its own devices. What would the public outcry be when hundreds or thousands of people (once again, heaven forbid) are killed?

Matthew - I never mentioned liberals. There are many Conservatives that are anti-war. And, I am not bashing anyone.

Well we know that very few of them would admit that they were wrong or had anything to do with it. I mean there are a lot of people out there, intelligent people, who don't think 9/11 was even an attack! It would be interesting how they'd explain that, but I just know they'd blame it on Bush. People blamed Nixon for many of the ills or problems of the country for quite some time after he was gone. Bush is just the new scapegoat.

Thats, the big issue. Terrorist need a country to fund them and set up camps. They cannot carry out large attacks without it and there hasnt been one since 9/11 (which was actually very costly to train and send these guys to the US). If we withdrawl from Iraq it will become the new major terrorist hub and we will inevitably have to invade it again. If we pull out of Iraq the Middle East will be more unstable and the world will be a much more dangerous place. Those anti war people are idiots and don't know what they're talking about.

If our President pulls Our Brave Soldiers out from Iraq. I would look to get my paperwork in order. I live near an important Military Base. Which will surely be one that would be hit.

They would blame President Bush. They would say that he made all the Radical Islamic Hoard hate us for invading Iraq in the first place. They would want to hold a peace conference with the Radical Islamic Hoard of murders and ask for mercy and vow eternal love and servitude to them.

Why is it so hard for libs to understand that the people they support agree it would be stupid to leave Iraq now? Did any of you watch the debate on MSNBC? Do you all just troll because you have been told on the Daily Show Bush is stupid?

They will be waving their flags like they did for a week after 911.

They will be singing the praises of the military then; not only supporting them but supporting their mission.

They will suddenly want President Bush as their President!

President Bush has said that the war in Iraq has no link to Al-Qaeda/Terrorism...

so then if your hypothetical situation were to occur, it would be completely unrelated to withdrawing troops from Iraq

I like it how you still try to infer that Iraq had a hand in 9/11.
