that they will vote to use our tax dollars to fund abortion?
We all know that they are pro choice and want to keep abortion legal and make partial birth abortion legal as well.
But will they also want to use our tax dollars to make it easier to kill the most defenseless and innocent of us all?
I think President Bush deserves our gratitude on voting to keep the ban on anti-partial birth abortion laws.
Thank you Mr. President.
Also how many of you know what partial birth abortion is?Until recently I thought it meant using birth control pills. But when I learned the truth about what it really is I was horrified and shocked. And to think that three of the people runing for president approve of it really makes me mad.
How about you?
What are your thoughts on this?

Hmeshow-Actually they bring the baby out of the birthing canal up to it's neck, shove a tube with a knife attached to it into the back of the baby's skull then they suck out the baby's brain collapsing it's skull to more easily kill it and remove it from the mother.
The baby is by now a normal size baby and is fully developed and can feel everything. How can anyone do this to another person especially one that's so small and helpless?

Goldenra-Before I became pregnant with my son I was using birth control while living in a motel room.Had just got off the street after being homeless for 3 months.I was very much in a panic when I realized I was pregnant.I had to drive 85 miles to get to work in a car that stalled every 10 minutes or so.I was also not feeling very well which is why I became homeless in the first place. But I decided to do the right thing for myself and my child and have him anyway.2 months after giving birth I found out I had cancer and was very ill.I have since been cured and it's been an uphill battle all the way but one that's well worth it.I have my child,I didn't kill him and he loves me.If there's a will there's always a way.

Jeremiah-Did you know that medi-cal pays for abortion? If a woman wants an abortion all she has to do is go down to the welfare department, qualify for temporary medi-cal benefits and she'll be given a temporary card to use until her permanent card comes in the mail. She can then go to the abortion clinic the very next day and pay for the abortion using her temporary medi-cal card.
And your tax dollars pay for it.

Oh how I love a good abortion debate!!! Especially when the answers give by most of the Bush Haters didn't answer the question and bashed him on things that had nothing to do with your question. But again, that is their style, bash and hate, if they don't understand or sling caca on things they have not researched. Gosh, if I read my constitution right, it is CONGRESS ans SENATE that approves spending, and what bills have passed by the DEMOCRATE congress ?
Though I am no huge fan of Bush, at least if your gonna attack him, do it on the things he is responsible for.
As far as abortion, I must have seen the same show you did on partial birth abortion. It IS torture!!! For the person who commented that it's only 2%, that is insane!!! So it's not OK to Insult and intimidate "Terrorists", but it is OK to Torture babies as long as it's a small number??? What kind of logic is that???
Finally, most Pro-Abortionists I have spoken with, also OPPOSE the DEATH PENALTY. Does this seem wierd to you??? Someone goes out murders a family and they should live??? A baby who did nothing wrong other than be concieved by 2 irresponsible parents, who CHOSE not to use protection, and now find the Baby to be inconvenient, Get to Kill and Snuff out that life??? And have groups lobbying to tell them "It's OK to use Abortion as a means of Birth Control"?
You all can make any argument you choose, but at the end of the day, you all know Abortion is just a license to kill.
Oh, and by the way, I am no right wing Christian. Just a guy whose to daughters were born while we were very poor, and we raised them and know they get to teach school. Life is precious folks, no matter what TRIMESTER you happen to be in...

There is no such thing as "partial birth abortion"... you are talking about a medical procedure done all over the world called Intact D&E... which only comprise 0.17% of all abortions and even some Pro-choice people are against it because of the controversy...
Kerry is not running for President...
The President doesn't get to decide whether or not abortions are performed... The reason that Clinton veto'd the bill was because "pro-life" people would not make an exception for a mother whose life was in danger...
"Pro-lifers" will not compromise on this issue... even to save a LIFE....
No one likes to "kill the little babies" so stop being paranoid and gross...
If people like you are making it to the polls then it sure explains alot....
Please stop getting all your political opinions from your church...

There are many reasons where a partial birth abortion would be performed, and unwanted pregnancy is very low in the list. Most unwanted pregs are done early, later abortions are done to protect the health of the mother. This recent ban has NO clause whatsoever for a woman's health.
A fetus w hydrocephalus, where the head is so full of fluid that it can be twice as big as a normal baby's head, would be extremelly dangerous to deliver even through a c-section. Even if these fetuses are born, they suffer from mental retardation and seizures, many of them are brain dead, others die.
Another scenario is when a pregnant woman develops a lethal infection such as meningitis. The infection is quickly lethal unless heavy doses of antibiotics are given, which in turn will severely damage or kill the fetus. When a woman starts to show signs of meningitis, the fetus is already infected in many cases.
Many congenital abnormalities don't start to show up until late gestation. A baby born w these abnormalities will need a lot of care, surgeries, and may even die a painful death anyway.
This is a case of a woman whose fetus died in utero. The safest way to remove the dead fetus was through a partial birth abortion. Naturally delivering this fetus would have been extremelly dangerous for her. Read this story, is very scary on what this ban may lead to.

Who are you to infringe on women's rights, body, and health? What if the woman's health is in grave danger? abortion should be a choice made ONLY by a woman and her doctor, not by ppl in the government or religious groups that have no idea of the situation of other women. It is very sad that your voting choice is based only on ONE reason, and a reason that infringe's on other people's choices.

The term is kind of self explanatory, I can't believe you didn't know what it was.
I do not agree with partial birth abortions and I would never ever, ever have an abortion. BUT---MY BODY- MY CHOICE.
There are reasons that people have partial birth abortions other than they just don't want to have the child.
I plan to vote democrate to keep my right and the rights of others to choose.

it stands out as the comparable as this is now with some exceptions. Speeches without errors (a minimum of staring at bush is impressive for that), greater liberal acts, and partial start abortions would felony. individually, the final election replaced into picking the lesser of two evils. the two way wasn't going to be a sturdy thank you to bypass. this is a tragic international we live in whilst it includes politics.

I am an Independent. I do not vote Party, but rather for the man or woman whom I think will have the best interests of the American people at heart. I have given great thought to the three individuals you have mentioned, keeping in mind that they all talk apple pie in the sky during their campaign speeches, and if elected will not keep any of the promises made. Mr. Obama, although very charismatic, does not have sufficient background for the Presidency. We already saw, from the last campaign that John Kerry doesn't know how to lace his shoes without the help from his wife enormous wealth which she inherited from her former husband of the HEINZ family. Hilary Clinton is know as Madame flip flop on major issues. One minute she is against the war in Iraq, the next minute she is trying to defend voting for us to go to war in Iraq. Unfortunately, Hilary's ego is much larger than her intelligence. It remains to be seen what the final nominees will look like.

Partial-birth abortions occur very late. Google the statistics on abortions; only 2% happen after the first trimester. Congradulations, a very rarely used procedure has been banned.
If any of those people get into office, the LAST thing on their mind will be using federal funds to directly assist in abortion. They have a flustercuck of a foreign policy and a ruined overall public trust in government to deal with..

I am Pro-Choice, but I don't think that tax dollars should be used directly for abortions.
If you can do that, then Health Care itself should be taken care of by tax dollars. There are more families out there who can't afford Health Care for their families than there are women who can't afford an abortion.

I am sick of Rep. voting on 2 issues alone. Stem cell research and abortion. And yet they vote for war. What do you think happens when you sit in front of your TV chanting Shock and Awe Rah Rah Rah!! 18 year old soldiers are dying. Pregnant women are dying hence fetuses, children, babies, elderly, people in their prime..are all dying. Choosing a President is about more than 2( almost the same) issues. I hate how the religious right thinks, and twists the truth to fit their agenda. Guess what folks I'm a Christian..liberal democrat... and I think Bush is an evil stupid sociopath fool.I hope I am never so narrow as to vote for a world leader on a "moral" issue and still support killing for oil as acceptable. we need a change SO BADLY. Think people if you still can, all these years of Bush have been brain numbing, but TRY!!!!!
