when they voted along with Democrats to force him to do so?

Is it do as I say, not as I do for Republicans???

Congress forced Clinton to remove the troops. Without a declaration of war, the War Powers Resolution of 1973 gives Congress the power to remove the troops.

HERE'S THE PROOF:

WAR POWERS RESOLUTION OF 1973
Section 5(c)
"Notwithstanding subsection (b), at any time that United States Armed Forces are engaged in hostilities outside the territory of the United States, its possessions and territories without a declaration of war or specific statutory authorization, such forces shall be removed by the President if the Congress so directs by concurrent resolution."

The same way that Democrats have the nerve to attack President Bush for going into Iraq when they voted along with Republicans to do so.

I guess it's do as I say, not as I do for the Democrats too.

I do hope people read these answers and think about them instead of just reacting to them. Fact is that most of the information GW had about Iraq was gathered during Clintons administration. Fact is that near the time the war started it became apparant that this information was very flawed. Fact is that GW did not head the later information and went ahead.

Blame can be put in many places and never be settled. The UN and its European members are more the blame than any other organization or government. The UN did not follow its own resolution when the first gulf wart was ended. It was the UN the fed a lot of this mis information to the public.

So you see Blame can be put in many places so lets put an end to this and do something abouty what is and not what was. The democrats are deliberately creating a real problem with refusing to remove the pull out time table for the troops. They know it is wrong and will ge vetoed. Any person with any brains at all would no better. They do know better and are doing this out of spite and it will cut their own noses off.

Has anyone noticed that a great many of our polititions now are of the hippy generation. They were very radical then and have not learned much since. I sure am glad I was not part of that crowd.

By the way I do not live in te USA. I do however believe that the USA is and can continue to be the best nation on earth if it stops and takes the time to examin itself. It is time to put manors back in peoples thinking.

Clinton was quite jealous of Rico Suave. I reduced Hillary to quivering jelly in my arms.

Ditto on Shiraz's comment "Clintons ineptness led to 911". Remember that?

Clinton had the power to change things..

I am a Republican and I blame Clinton for not taking down Hussein when he had the change.

Their were troops right outside the place where Saddam was and Clinton ordered them to pull back.
People will always be able to place blame on someone else.
