Is there a company that tranfsers old family films (like reel to reel)?

My inlaws have movies from when their kids were growing up and we would like to put them on a dvd if possible is there a national company that does this kind of transfering service?

There's probally one in your hometown! Look in the Yellow Pages for local 'camera shops' and they are the SAFEST place to get this done. We had a bunch done up a couple years back. Most 'computer' shops can do vhs to dvd but not 8m or 16m. If you had to choose between a computer shop or a camera shop, CHOOSE the CAMERA shop as they know how to safely handle your old film. :-)
