i need a good free dvd driver for a compaq computer. can anyone help me find one plz

one more thing, im trying to save files onto a dvd-r so thats y i need a dvd driver

you want a burning program, not a driver.
try imgburn, it's not just for images

Your Compaq comes with burning software, read the manual.
