the economy, but if it was written in such a way that it didn't hurt the economy and drastically improved all areas of the enviroment possible and drastically slowed the non-preventible damage being done to it and the climate as much as possible while at the same time shifting the US away from all forms of non-renewable energy and resources as fast as possible without harming said economy or individuals rights and liberties while at the same time creating good blue collar, white collar and scientific jobs would you then give it your full support? I think that if legislation is purposefully written, and written brillently, to catalyze certain particular things and to prevent certain particular things, even if the combination of the catalyzation and prevention is very complacated it can be done especially in order for all groups in the country involved to be fully satisfied with it, do you think that this is possible if the politicians we currently have rise to the occasion?

You obviously don't understand technology or manufacturing processes. Study them first. Then see if what you suggest is really possible. The fact is that technology costs. The fact is that someone is going to pay. The fact is that it will hurt. Get used to it. Sorry, but those are the facts.

Lets see that whole renewable energy thing work,I don't think it can. And there are always unintended consequences, you seem to believe we are smarter than we are,as a nation I mean. For example, after 15 years of building tens of thousands of windmills, making tens of thousands of acres or more useless for anything else, and killing hundreds of thousands of migratory birds and bats, wind power now provides what? 2% of usage, not even that maybe? But it sounds good, and it's not a scary nuclear reactor so it must be good. Thing is stuff like that isn't going to cut it,especially with the idea of fully electric cars, which would increase our electricity demands by 200%,300%, does anyone even know? I have every faith that if they get their way,in their zeal people like Gore will cause this economy to crash like the Hindenburg. If you trust these fools with your future you are a braver person than I. And last but certainly not least,I will not give up my Mustang cause it doesn't meet the right MPG standard while people like Gore and Pelosi fly around in private jets, part of the fight is over the hypocrisy.
