Yes, I would. In fact, I pretty much have it down. Here, see if this makes sense to you. I was born on March 14, 1983. Now I subtract the year 1983 from 24 ( my age), and that gives me the year of 1954. After that, I again subtract the year 2007 from 1954, and I come up with the age 53. Now, if I were to divide 53 into 12( the number of months in a year), my answer would be 12 with 4 being the numerator, and 3 being the denominator. By my logic, I would then combine the 4 and the 3, and make that 43, and that is the year that I think I would die. March 14( the day of my birth), and 2043 as being the year of my death. Then I would add 43 and 24, and I would get 67, which to me, is more than enough time to live on this earth.

No. If I did and I had the date on a calender I'm almost positive that I would treat it like most deadlines (hah, no pun intended) - by procrastinating. I can see myself still sitting here wasting my life away... That or I would be so overwhelmed trying to figure out what I should do before I die and how I should get those things done. It wouldn't be fun either way.

If I'd know that that was the exact day, yeah.

It'd be comforting - to not have to worry about when it was going to happen. That way, I'd KNOW.

Shakespeare talked about it in Julius Caesar :

"Grant that, and then is death a benefit:
So are we Caesar's friends, that have abridged
His time of fearing death."

(Brutus, on their killing of Caesar, and making him not have to worry about when he was going to die.)

However, it's pretty impossible to calculate something like that... what with the unpredictability of life and all.

In a perfect world, though...

Yes, and I already checked out the death clock from LadyLinda. HA! It says I'll die 8 months after my husband, on July 25, 2062. Maybe I'll start smoking, because I don't ever want to live even one day without him.

Probably. Robert Heinlein wrote a short story about this, called Lifeline, which is well worth reading.
