Thats funny I am a white women and when I think of rap none of those things ever come up in my mind. I enjoy rap just as I do other types of music. There are songs in all genres that discriminate or degrade people. YOU have the power to choose in America and if you don't like it turn it off. It's nice to have that choice right?

I think of music that doesn't require any talent whatsoever. Lyrics that are being spoken (not really sung) over a repetitious drum beat and bass line. Lyrics that are filled with violence, and that contain more profanity than you can shake a stick at.
