what were the causes for warfare between Assyrian and Persian ?
and if you the effect please tell me

*if not homework , i'm just wanted to know,
i thought it was because of power and land
but i am not sure if i am right....

They were two neighboring empires, both expanding and both wanting the same trade routes and the same ports. Especially Assyria sat on an important strategic position on many of those trade routes. Metal from Anatolia was an important item, for example.

Not to forget the rebelling states in the periphery like the Medes , who played one empire against the other.
