It's $2.99 today. Friday it was 2.89 here. Is there an end in sight? I doubt it now that summer is approaching. I wonder how high it will go. I know I find myself staying home more than I did before but you know, it's not really so bad. I have to go 21 miles for groceries so I stock up and don't go so often. You get used to it and it saves on gas. I am lucky enough to be close enough to work that I walk.

No wonder people still have no idea about why gas price changes day by day. I used to manage a Gas station, we jack up the price when the tank runs low, so less customer will show up for it. if the tank full, we jack down the price. Why the price is so high is because recently the gas got taxed hell out of. Dont blame the Gas station, because we almost makes no profit at all from Gas selling. Most of our profits comes from Cigeretts, lottery, and a little grocery. Stop whining, US's gasoline is the cheapest around the globe.

WTF is right! I live in Sonoma county (Northern California) and the price of gas at the shell station about 2 blocks from here shot up from $3.04 (this was cheaper than any other stations) right after the British soldiers were held hostage, to $3.35. Since I don't work, the last time I bought gas was when it was $3.04. My gas light went on today.

Also, they said that the reason the prices were rising was because of teh British soldiers being held hostage. They were let go so WTF!!?!?!?!?!?

sorry. i ranted.
