A puck, when used in ice hockey, is a hard black disk of vulcanized rubber. A standard puck is one inch thick (25.4 mm), three inches in diameter (76.2 mm) and weighs between 5.5 and 6 ounces (156-170 g). Pucks are often marked with team or league logos on one or both faces. But there are more than one type of puck. The one mentioned above is a standard puck which is the one usually used but there are lighter pucks and heavier pucks that are used.

In space the puck would continue to have no weight. But depending what you want to use it for, you could make it massive enough to fit the purpose. On the Moon, you could make the puck more massive than the one used on Earth so that it does not fly off so easily off the ice. But, assuming that the game is played in a pressurized dome, we could make the puck a lot lighter (like hollow plastic) so that the air resistance would actually slow it down when it is lifted off the ice (imaging playing hockey, where the puck is replaced by a fatter version of a frisbee). You'd have a tougher problem keeping the skaters on the ice The harder one tries to go fast, the slower one goes (less weight = less friction to push for acceleration = more force sent to legs to try an compensate = players flying off the ice = no traction = no acceleration)

It only weighs about 5 oz. and is 1" thick by 3" across, but that is deadly when moving at 90 mph.
