Mass (m) times the Speed of Light squared (c)^2 gives you the amount of energy (E) that can be produced.
Do you mean it would be POTENTIAL energy, without the E? Or are you saying time(s) as in multiplying?

When a particle of matter is turned into energy there is a time component that is very important.
If you took a marble and turned into energy [E=MC2] in ten years you could probably hold it in your hand.
If you took the same marble and turned it into energy in 1 millionth of a second it would do serious damage to the surface of the earth.

The "m" is mass and the "c" is the velocity of light. The "E" is energy. It has nothing to do with time.

Time..???? E = m*c^2 has nothing to do with time. 'E' is energy, 'm' is mass, and 'c' is the speed of light.
