No, just lazy. I think that if you ask people to take time to answer your questions, then the least you can do is take time to choose a winner.

No, because I have put quite a few of my questions to vote and I don't think that it makes me ignorant at all.

no, it does not make you ignorant. there could be several reason for not selecting a best answer:

1. none of the answers appeal to you.

2. all of the answers appeal to you

3. you want to keep the ten point to yourself.

only the last reason would make you ignorant, but the others are good reasons for not picking the best answer.

even if you never pick best answers, that does not make you ignorant, it makes you something else.

No it does not. Sometimes I'm tempted to put mine to voting too because I ask so many questions but I know people like being chosen best answer by the asker so I don't.

You are losing 3 points out of the 5 you spent to ask your question. If you the asker picks the best answer....you get 3 points for doing so. If it goes to vote....the person voting gets 1 point for voting best answer...now, you tell me.

It doesn't make you ignorant Glen !
It's just that people get a more gratified feeling when
the asker picks the best answer.
