If our leaders continue down the path of making us a theocracy, will you march in the streets to stop them?

You have no real basis for thinking that the U. S. is headed toward a theocracy. Moral standards are good regardless of religious beliefs. If you want to throw out standards, then you risk being thrown out yourself. Do you really want to survive by tooth and claw/nail? Do you really want to survive by bullying and being bullied? Keep some standards.

We have protest marches all the time. We had large ones for integration and against the Vietnamese war. We don't have the military ready to take over the government. That just isn't done here. The people wouldn't stand for it. However if the militant Islamists try to take over the government I hope you Turks beat them down or it will be back to the dark ages for you.

I'm more prone to write letters. I've wondered if all these masses of people who march have job and family responsibilities.
I am more prone to think it could happen here after seeing people march in parades to proclaim their "pride" in their "sexual habits" and having children and businesses right there with them. And don't forget the parades to object to the banning of abortion procedures that include making incisions in a babies neck with scissors, opening the scissors to enlarge the opening, inserting a suction and sucking it's brains out. If you think our government is taking us to theocracy (unless it's "The Church of Perversity", you are not keeping up with what's going on.

Just lie to everyone and tell them it's a march in support of illegal criminal tresspassing invading aliens and you can get at least a couple hundred thousand to show up. But for worthy causes it's usually harder to get the huge numbers it seems.
