ever won big money, like the lotto for example? And if so, what were some of the things that happened that you never anticipated. (Like a long lost cousin showing up, or something like that.)

My aunt in law got a million $ in a lawsuit. 5 years later she had a yard sale to make enough $ to keep her lights on and 3 weeks later was killed in a drug related car wreck. Crystal meth took her out. :(

I'm not very lucky with the big money games. I did win 50 bucks on a scratchoff once though. It went 100% like I would've anticipated: I drank it up.

i work for a CPA firm, and a client came in and had their taxes done. I opened their tax return to show them their bill and YIKES! THEY OWED THE IRS $9,500! not to mention what they owed the FTB (CA). This couple wasn't 27 years old! she won $165,000 on a SLOT MACHINE and took the lump sum, bought a house, and... TOTALLY FORGOT UNCLE SAM WANTED HIS SHARE! CRIKY! You are more likely to be struck by lightening TWICE before you ever win the lottery! let that be a lesson to you greedy lil gamblers! hehe ...

The vultures descended when I inherited. Several of them did their best to wipe me out. Luckily I didn't allow this to happen.
