Any Beatles song "she loves me" "Yellow Submarine" "Strawberry Fields", Elvis, even Monster Mash the Halloween song. I think Hall and Oates "she's gone" is from 74 75, Jefferson Airplane, Olivia Newton John "have you ever been mellow", That was the era of folk transitioning into disco also "If I were a Carpenter - and you were a lady". Hope it helps a little.

May I suggest a Jimi Hendrix song? "Little Wing", released in 1967, is a fine example of a good 1960s rock song.
