Go crazy? Invest it? Pay off the student loans? Donate to charity? Shopping spree?

Let's say you won roughly $1 M after taxes.

What would you do with all that money?

When you're a poor college student(or grad student!) one million dollars is A LOT. Hell, 20 dollars is a lot, that's like 200 packs of Ramen noodles ;)

Pay my sisters a little bit and send them on a vaction. While they are away I would move and leave no forwarding address. Then I would buy a piece of land, build a house and invest some for the kids for college

Hello... and wow! I'd pay my 10% tithe to God along with an offering, maybe take a few thousand and go shopping... then put the rest into an account to get big interest. I'd like to get me some nice new clothes, buy me a brand new racing bike, go traveling to NYC and a couple other places, and buy what I'd want. Of course there'd be a brand new Canon digital SLR with a couple of SWEEEET lenses, a real pro quality tripod, and go have some fun. Then after the money's been in for a year, I'd go play with the interest and take another little snatch and do it over. I'd like to have a nice home so I can do what I want to and not worry about things. Oh yeah.

Buy a new car and a small house. Give some to charity and put the rest in the bank so I could live off the interest.

That's not very much, I couldn't even quit my job & live on the interest....
But 50 million...yeah, I'd buy all my siblings and children a home (or pay off their mortgage if they have one).
I'd buy my elderly Mom a home and pay a permanent nurse to take care of her.
I'd buy cars for my kids, and set up a scholarship in our name.
I'd give a bundle to charities (but only after I researched how much $ goes where it's needed).
Then I'd stick a fat chunk away for retirement, and TRAVEL!!!!!

I would buy a log cabin on about 30 acres of land.Buy myself a new car. Stock my home with everything I could keep for a long time. Fence the 30 acres in...And then I would start playing Santa Claus to people. I wouldn't do it so they would know who it was -- it would be nice to help people out that need it though..

Very first thing I would do is change my phone number, and address. Dis-own any relatives. Because there will always be some that will come out of the woodwork, begging for some money.

I would buy a nice house, a new car, and put the rest into savings.
The savings would be later used for my childrens and 2 nephews college educations.
