its a syndrome and you should ask around in your family if anyone else has it as it is usually hereditary.its called reynauds syndrome as I suffer from it too. it affects the extremities reguardless of temperature. its just the corpuscles in the extremities restrict blood flow. my mom has it and so do I. unfortunately there is no treatment at this time. mine is painful at times too. massage often helps. I'm not sure about that spelling also.

My hands, feet and tip of my nose are always cold. Blood doesn't circulate well. Run up and down the steps a few times or drink hot tea. The cup is nice n warm.

gloves, darlin - wear them in hot weather and they could become your personal trademark or affectation but your hands wouldn't be cold
