I could have sworn i seen a leprechaun when i was camping up at the lake a few months back, now most people don't believe me but i don't care because I'm almost certain i know what i seen. There have been accounts of faeries for thousands of years now if 80% of those accounts were wishful thinking that still leaves 20% of the stories unverified and quiet possibly true, now there is still a lot we don't understand about this world we live on and to say something doesn't exist without giving the idea fair impartial look from all points of view is nothing less than unfair to the person making the claim. Humanity is a sceptical creature indeed the very thought that someone could see a creature that the rest of the world has already relegated as pure fiction is impossible for the rest of the people who hear the story to take it seriously, but what if what they seen was real and they were privileged enough to see it, who are we to take away there hope or ideals.

Sure, why not! There are fish in the sea that have lights attached to their heads.... Who knows what else this earth is hiding from most of us!
I think that if your a skeptic and it makes you happy to think that they are not real, then go ahead with that idea. But if your open to possibility, than life is so much more! Just in general!
I would believe your aunt...If for no other reason, than just to make her feel better about her sighting. I'm sure there are many members of the family calling her crazy.
Why not be on the opposite side of the name calling!

That's very interesting. Your Aunt sounds like fun. Is she diabetic also? I've seen many things during my life as well.I suppose this is why I'm on disability also. Sometimes when I see a humming bird I first think it's a bug like a moth. I seriously doubt a sane person would call everyone and say this anyway. Maybe it was just a small alien probe collecting specimens from her backyard.

Yeah I kinda do...if they do I wish I could see one...but like the other person said, they are probably light orbs and not miniature ppl...anything's possible (except for Santa, grrr thats the biggest hoax of all time!!!!!!).....maybe your aunt really did see one...but first check if she watched a movie or read a bokk about them....I'm serious they can really make you see and believe things!

I believe anything is possible, and if your aunt believes in fairies, then I am sure that she saw one in her backyard. Just because it is not a common occurrence, does not mean that it does not exist or could not happen. take care

It is of Irish Folklore that Fairies are fallen angels who were not bad enough to send to hell, but a bit too mischievous to stay in heaven. So, the sent them to Eire which is a bit of both.

"Their port was more than human as they stood;
I took it for a faery vision
Of some gay creatures of the element,
That in the colours of the rainbow live
And play i' thi' plighted clouds."
(D'Israeli's Romances, p. 13.)

I believe in them. I am perfectly sane.
I have them living in my home and in my garden. They are pranksters. I have one who keeps leaving dimes......why?..... I don't know yet. I keep thinking there is a significance to it all but I have no clue. I am filling a jar with each one I find. One loves to hide things, all I have to do is say in a stern voice that i need it back now and what I am missing appears......always in a very obvious place - like in the middle of the coffee table or someplace very open. I have only seen them briefly but my daughter has seen them since she was a tiny child. She feels they protect her.

Like the lady above, i too have a 3.5yr old daughter who has seen them since she was a baby, and used to call them little people with wings, my daughter too calls them her fairy teachers...I have never come across anyone else who shared my story!
My daughter has started healing with her hands, and she said that the fairys taught her, and yes it works and she knows that someone has pain, no one tells her!

Yes, I do...there are many things in our world that we are not able to see but DO exist. And the lady with the aunt and the other with the daughter...very cool. What a gift. :)

Of course I believe in Faeries. They exist as do many other magical beings.
Most humans can't see them since they live on a slightly different plane, and don't often cross into ours anymore.
