I think the best way to answer this is..at first it is lust...then if it becomes true love yes things change. A person can be themselves..love is the binding ingrediant not just sex. But love and lovemaking are the best!!!!
A person can have sex..really with anyone. But to make love is the best!!! The real feelings are so intense..as intense as the love making!

It depends on what the persons personality is like. I've found in my marriage of eight years that both grow in different ways. I don't believe there is any concrete answer for a question like this. Good luck with whatever you're going through.
