My oldest sister who is a truck driver and might need a ride and a place to sleep tonight so she doesn't have to sleep in a hotel or in there truck, so yes I called her and told her to call around midnight or whatever time she gets close bye and I will come and get her and her trucking partner and they can stay at my place and sleep and shower for free and I will even serve them breakfast! How nice I was feeling!

One of my friends who is going through a tough time right now, and yes I did call her. It was a tough conversation, as her Dad is dying from cancer, and she is really struggling right now.
To the young lady who made the comment about not wanting to talk to her Dad because he only talks about the weather, your perspective could change when he cannot talk to you.
Some bad things in life are unavoidable, unfortunately.

My dad. No I didn't call. I had already talked about the weather with someone and didn't feel like going over it again. He talks about the weather for like 30 minutes each time we talk..

it was my ex and yes i did because he called me and i didnt answer so i thought i should call him back so he doesnt keep callin me all ***** night long!!!
