Ok well I have hair in a number of places and I want to ask me mom if I can start shaving but I just don't know how! We don't talk that much about puberty or anything and I ned some info and I am not going online because then my mom might look at the history on this computer or something. Please help me find ideas how I can ask my mom about shaving or any secret ways I can start shaving. Write her a note and tell her your needs. you wont be embarassed in front of her because you don't have to be in the room when she reads it. Your Mom will know what to do. Trust me I am one. It's hard to get it out there in the open but when you do life will get easier with your mom!! Good luck!

Tell your Mom your pits stink, and you need to shave! If you are matter of fact about it, it will be less embarassing.
Don't shave in secret - you need a good razor [can be used 3-4 times before it gets dull] and some moisturizing shave cream.
You can shave your armpits and legs with the razor. Do it in the shower or tub after you wash, so you get a better shave.
Shave in the direction of the hair growth in your armpits. [down] Shave against the hair growth on your legs [ up ]. Only take three strokes before you rinse off razor. Shave from ankles to knees, then knees to upper thighs. Point your foot up to shave the backs of your ankles. Straighten your leg and gently shave the front and backs of your knees. Do not try to shave bikini area until you are very skilled, and then shave in direction of hair growth.
Do not shave your lip-the hairs will come back coarser [ they have a cut edge]. If there are only a few, pluck them after a shower. More than a few-use a depilatory [Neet or Nair].

This is a good time to start asking your mom some questions because as you reach puberty you might need to ask her more personal questions. You could sit down & ask her, you want to have a girl talk with her & would like some advice.
Your mom was your age too, I'm sure she would be glad to help you in anyway, if you feel you need to make some changes to your body that would make you feel better, like getting a few hairs removed from your lip.

i think in this case you just have to tell your mom. but if you wish to try it. you could look it up on line then jut erase the history. if your mother asks tell her you were cleaning out the computer files and didn't think anyone would mind. if you get allowance or any kind of money go out and buy a razor and shaving cream or waxing stuff . keep it in your room and take it to the bath room when you use it then back to your room. sorry but those are the best ideas I've been able to come up.

For the lip you should rather use wax or epilatory creams. Razors are only for the legs (or the face of MEN that are a lot hairier with the beard and everything)

WHATEVER YOU DO!
Get it waxed.
If u shave it, it will grow in darker and more coarse, and it will be more noticeable.
Just tell your mom as it is" mom, i dont like my lip hair...i need to get it waxed...it will be about 10 bucks"
she will be fine.
If u want to shave your legs...do the same thing..just tell her...you cant expect to live your life hairy! U will eventually have to shave at some point!

Honey, it's not that hard. Just go ask your mother calmly like, "Could I start shaving?" or something like that. It's really no big deal.

relax; what you;re going through is normal. Why is your mom so uptight. Go to her and say hey I am a woman too - we need to discuss this stuff openly and without stupid embarassment.
