i have a light pink chiffon calf length dress. what kind and what colour shoes should i wear. where should i look?

Some ankle strap shoes (silver or black) would definitely accentuate the dress AND your legs.
For a more mature look, you can wear black pumps.
You could also wear black shoes with pink accents on them.

Now the jewelry depends on the neckline of the dress. If it is halter, you really don't need jewelry. You could get away with a short crystal necklace.
Basically, you don't want the jewelry to come past the dress.
