Well i am a 14 year old female. Last night i was masturbating and watching porn,It wasn't hard core or anything like that but it was still porn.( found it in my older sisters room).
And well my door was locked but my mom opened it with a key and saw me and everything. I was so embarrassed. Now she wont even look at me or talk to me. Im really upset. and i guess i shouldn't have even of done that? Was that wrong? Please help, What do i do now?

I think your Mom is probably embarrassed also and doesn't know how to address it with you. At 14 though I think it is perfectly normal and healthy, it is certainly nothing to be ashamed of although being caught by your Mom is pretty embarrassing. If you can't approach your Mom about it and feel the need to clear the air then write her a letter, telling her that you are embarrassed too but your door was locked so it wasn't like you wanted to cause any embarrassment to her and that maybe to save you both from future situations could she please knock first before entering. I don't think you have anything to apologize for but I don't know your background, or if your parents are very religious, find sex and the talk of such out of bounds etc. Just whatever you choose to do, know it really is normal & very healthy and you obvioulsy did everything you could to make it a private affair. One day you may even laugh about this, hopefully with your Mom but certainly with your friends/partner...one day!

Okay so im 14 too. I guess this helps coming from someone your own age. Personally I think its normal. Hey, your mom most likely does it too. I think your mom is probablly mad b/c of the porn,but maybe knocking was a better idea. I personally would be mad at my mom for opening my door with a key without even knocking or anything. Invasion of privacy. If my mom ever did that. But yeah I would try to talk to your mom. Or this is even better write her a letter that way you can tell her everything you need to any she cant yell at you back. She has to sit and read it and read how you feel. If you talk to her she might interrupt thats why i stick to letters

I would have a talk with your mother & tell her how you feel.
There is nothing wrong with masturbating but she might have problem with you watching porn. You can apologize for the borrowing your sister's movies but ask your mother to knock on your door because you want privacy.

Its natural to be embarrassed & its normal for you to be curious of this things & try it yourself.Your mom is just shock of what she had seen but deep inside she knows your old enough to know about this things & cant really react right away about the situation.You can just say sorry to your mom about that,besides you did locked the door.Try to to be open to your mom,you can even learn some from her.You dont have to worry its part of growing up,she'll understand.

Hey people.Can't U read?I doubt her mom was mad because she was masturbating.It was most likely that she caught her watching a porno movie at 14!They're called "Adult Movies" because it's for adults,not kids.Unless you're sick in the head,who would'nt be upset that their daughter was watching pornos at 14?Try giving sum good advice instead of encouraging the girl & telling her it's fine & dandy at her age?Obviously none of U have kids yet.

It was your mother who was wrong. Make that WRONG!!!!! She should be ashamed of herself (as she probably is). It's a normal thing for a girl to do what you were doing (good for you, BTW). Carry on with your life. She'll get over it.

its perfectly healthy and normal for anyone to explore themselves.. your mom is prolly just in more shock that she caught you doing it... maybe try having a talk with your mom.. she may be worried that you are sexually active and that could scare her.
