Did anyone here about the Kansas Mall shootings?

This is so horrible. Right after the VT shootings, also. What can we... or the goverment do to stop this random acts of shooting. It is so frightening and really sad!

Four people dead after the entire thing was done. The gunman apparently killed his neighbour, stole her car, and took off. An officer recognized the car after it was reported as stolen and pulled the vehicle over. The officer was shot by the gunman and fled the scene. The officer was shot in the arm and is okay. The gunman then drove to Ward Parkway Mall where he randomly shot two innocent bystanders. An off duty officer working at the mall heard the shots fired and called for assistance. The officer confronted the gunman and as the gunman proceeded to shoot the officer, the officer shot first, killing the gunman. Very nasty scene. I know the Crime Scene officers will be out there for a long time.

Yeah I heard about the Kansas City mall shootings. It is horrible and disturbing. I go to Virginia Tech and its still hard for all of us to sleep.

It can feel like a real double whammy of shock for someone who knew one of the victims whether it was yesterday or say even 10, 15, 20 years ago by seeing the name in the papers. Very sad.

The bad guys prefer unarmed victims!!.
When seconds matter calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option.

Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!!
