SOME Democrats have this misconception that Republicans hate him too. There may be a small portion that do, but most Republicans DISAPPROVE of his performance rather than HATING him. Back to the point though, I think the reason SOME hate Bush so much is because he blows it off. He couldn't care less about what they say. What do you think?

I would agree, I don't believe many Republicans hate Bush. Disappointment in his decisions maybe, but by and large Republicans pretty much close ranks with regard to Bush.

I don't hate Bush, but I think he and his Administration have thumbed their nose at 50-51% of the nation for quite a long time.

And you're right he doesn't care....but I really believe as President he should.

I think you're giving Democrats too liberal of a name. In all honesty, many representatives of the Democratic party have voted IN FAVOR of decisions made by the Bush administration. So, no, not all Democrats hate Bush, and not all Republicans like him. Just because someone prescribes to a certain party's belief system, it doesn't mean they like the current leader. Just because someone is a Republican, it doesn't mean that ALL Republicans thinks the same way as that one person, and the same goes for Democrats, so there is bound to be a disagreement between people. The ones who HATE Bush? Anarchists. Trust me, I am one, and I can tell a "liberal Democrat" apart from someone who truly hates Bush as well as all forms of organized governments, war, and oppression. (But I don't believe in chaos and destruction, just no hierarchy and community based work.)

yeah... hilarious.... Bush may not care about anyone disliking him... but what exactly does he care about? He is not a good President.... I don't hate him, I just think he is a bad leader, a bad President and he's not willing to admit his mistakes... I also think he is not really in charge, and that the people that handle him are really a bunch of bad people... look at his cronies.... Cheney, Rove, Tom Ridge, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, Gonzales, Michael Brown; unqualified, power-hungry, lying, deceitful idiots... those are the people that should be hated. And what about trying to get that dumb Miers twit into the Supreme Court? Just an absolute disgrace! Bush should not be hated, he should be ashamed of himself, and so should anyone willing to still support his lousy excuse for an Administration.... get a grip on reality. By the way, "Billy", are you really stupid enough to just blindly support whoever happens to be President, as long as he's a Republican? George W. Bush is not someone to be admired.... and neither are almost all the politicians in both parties.... and anyone who thinks that the media is pro-Democrat or pro-Republican or vice-versa is paranoid and only seeing stuff they want to... the media is just as irresponsible as you are at disseminating horse manure. Maybe you should date Ann Coulter, and then the two of you can drop dead. And take Bill O' Reilly with you... not to mention some idiots from the other side too, the "liberal media", as you call them. Pinhead.

I believe that it is a trait I wish all politicians had, it is after all why we elect them, to do what they think is the right thing.

I think many of the socialists prefer their politicians to follow what the polls tell them the people want........as long as it supports their psychosis.

I did not agree with clitoon and showed the appropriate respect for the office and the Commander in Chief, now that is no longer in office I will proudly say I think the man is of low or no morals and am amazed how ever got as far as he did.

To repeat I would hope the President does not listen to their silly little purported mandates because there are no mandates other than he was elected to do his duty as HE sees it. Hoorah for a man of ethics, morals and scruples, just wish congress had some.

Stop it. You'll get a reputation for being unbiased.

I'm a democrat. I think President Bush does what every sane President does. Don't listen to sedition (rhymes!).

Listen to arguments based on logic and science, but don't let it overwhelm by giving it to those you trust to examine the issue leaving you free to run the country.

That's why they've had it, and insist on taking up his time with other means, such as "investigations requiring him to testify in public".

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard to do with the man who is the holder of the nation's greatest secrets!

I don't hate President Bush. I support the war (formally Islamic family that KNOWS what they plan for the rest of us), and I hate sedition.

I'm a democrat, second; a patriot, first. Keep speaking up.

I'll bet some Republicans hate Bush more than Democrats do. Democrats expected him to be an incompetent idiot, but the Republicans who have figured it out didn't, and they feel bitter and betrayed, not to mention blaming him for losing Congress.

I think you got it partially correct. Bush does not care….about anyone; and he does not care about America. He cares only about himself and his self-glorified place in history – remember, this moron actually thinks that he is doing God’s work (because God ‘told him so’).

Bush does not care how many Americans die in Iraq anymore than he cares about how many Iraqis die. He does not care about the health, employment, or quality of anyone’s life other than his own and the people immediately around him.

Bush is what happens when you combine ignorance + arrogance + political power. He has already harmed America enormously, more than any other American or enemy in history, and he has not finished yet.

Bush is hated by people who love and care about America, its citizens, and its future. If Bush does not care that people hate him, it is because either: 1) he is too insulated to know what is going on, 2) he is too stupid to know what is going on, or 3) he lacks the capacity to care about anyone other than himself.

You're playing a semantics game. Everyone is saying the same thing only in different ways.

Obviously he doesn't care about what anyone thinks nor his ratings or he would support the troops by bringing them home.

I do not hate Bush. I abhor what he has done while in office. George Bush had the connections and the political power to be one of the greatest presidents in the History of America. Now, it is just another failure to add to his long and growing list.
