My husband came home for R and R and we decided to start the process of baby making. Well, right now I am having slight bleeding... and I am unsure weather it could be my period or it means I am pregnant. We have been having unprotected sex for 2 weeks. I suppose to get my period the beginning of last week but so far nothing. Does anyone know what that may mean?? Does that mean I may be pregnant? Please help. Thanks

I think that if your light bleeding/spotting stops within a day...then the chances of you being pregnant are very high, take a test!

Just because one has unprotected sex doesn't mean one may be pregnant. It has alot to do with when you are ovulating. If you start to bleed and this increases it is likely you are not pregnant but that your period just arrived then. Such things as stress and anxiety can delay a period. Relax. Watch and see what happens in that and see if the bleeding continues the usual amount of time. If you have to use something to absorb the blood it is likely your period just. If this increases and is worse than usual, get to a dr. to be checked though. Any time one is unsure of pregnancy there are ept test kits to find out. One should not bleed in pregnancy there could be problems in that if this happens and if it increases also. When one is pregnant and has a miscarriage happen they tend to bleed. wait and see if it resembles your having a period for now. In a miscarriage there can be bad cramping pain and large dark clots.

There are many tell tale signs of pregnancy--bleeding is typically not one of them, however it is possible to have slight bleeding while pregnant. The irregularity can just be your body changing hormonally--simply put--as it prepares to become pregnant. That doesn't mean you already are. One sign of pregnancy is the breasts suddenly appearing veiny. I'd suggest you invest in a book such as "What to Expect When You're Expecting," or something along those lines, to become and stay informed. And you might want to think about keeping a couple of early home pregnancy tests on hand. If your period is late or irregular for more than a week, take the test, then follow up with a doctor's exam. You might also want to start looking into obgyns (if you don't already have one) and pediatricians. Oh, also, start taking folic acid if you aren't already and cut back on your caffeine and alcohol intake.
Best of luck.

It's very possible that you might be pregnant. The light bleeding you are experiencing could be implantation bleeding which means the egg has been fertilized. The best thing to do is to take a pregnancy test. There's actually an online test that can give you an idea of the possibilities. Congratulations if you are!

I would wait to see what happens. Wait to see if the bleeding stops. You are the only one who knows what your period is supposed to be like, so therefore you are the only one who can judge if the bleeding is your period. If you're still questioning it after a week, take a pregnancy test. I pray that you are pregnant, I am sure you would make a wonderful mother. Good luck!

I think that it's possible for you to be pregnant cause I experienced the same thing. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and one week before my period date, I had some spots (not really bleeding but I usually get spots days before my period come effectively) so I told my husband that I was not pregnant cause I saw somme blood. But at the period date, nothing came till today! so you should cross you fingers and keep hoping...

Plz take a test. Not trying to scare you,but if u r pregnant and ur spotting, thats ur body rejecting the pregnancy. High risk of miscarriage. It's just that some people can carry a baby full term with spotting and others can't.But it is, the body rejecting the pregnancy. So plz take a test to see, then go from there.

gl and god bless

Some people do get some spotting when they're pregnant (it's called implantation bleeding), but that doesn't mean you ARE pregnant. It could certainly be your period. Take a pregnancy test.

I had spotting at around three weeks but it wasn't bleeding, implantation bledding is only very slight, have you recently stopped taking the pill or injection because this could cause some mix ups with your period
