i havent see my boss yet, but his wife (the assitance manger) phoned and asked me what happen. I sauid if they need any money they could take it out of my pay check. What do i do?

But they had people that already had presold and this was a fundraiser so we gave them the money from the fundraiser and we werent suppost to do that. Be honest, down to the very last detail. They'll get it straightened out.

Your boss won't want to screw them out of any money he wasn't owed. He has to obey the law and balance his accounts, and this type of error would throw them out of balance. He likely won't take the money from you either, for the same reason. He might fire you for incompetence, but (DUH) you committed an incompetent act. Just don't do it again.

Explain to your boss and his wife exactly what happened the minute they stepped-in. Don't volunteer to repay unless asked to.
