its not real music all they do is scream into a mic, and dress weird, they don't take the time to write lyrics, down that make sense and make it rhythm.
I don't really feel they way but this is how so people on here talk about rap, it makes no sense if you don't like good don't listen to it.

Then don't listen to rock or country. Rock has more soul and meaning than rap ever will in my opinion. It's not all screaming, they write great lyrics, and all rappers do is stand there and talk to a beat and it's always about the same thing. There is no originality.

I LOVE ROCK, im ok w/ rap and country but all that stuff sayin that people that sing rock say that we dress weird and that all we do is scream and dont take time to write lyrics...SO WRONG!!! I wear bondage pants, all black make-up, i write my own stuff, and to top it off i sing opera at converse college.....so in ur face

i could say the same thing you said in the first paragraph about rap...besides, it's kind of hippocritical to say this if you don't listen to rock. I can tell b/c of the first sentence....not every rocker dresses weirdly and screams into the mic, and may I add that rock musicians write down their lyrics...how else would rock music exist?

Actually country singers DO NOT scream into a microphone. Far from it. All types of music, including rap, has its own stereotypes. Personally, I can't stand rap. And I don't listen to it. If you like it, great. Listen to it. I don't care. If you hate rock and country, that's fine also. You don't have to listen to it. It's not going to change my opionion of it. I love country music.
