I personally love Everyday Italian and the Barefoot Contessa. Rachel Ray makes really simple and kid-friendly stuff tho, on 30 Minute Meals.

30 Minute Meals - Rachael Ray
comes on "The Food Network", I believe at 6 and 6:30 p.m. eastern on weeknights. It also airs on the weekends, I know Saturday's at 11:30 or Noon, I'm sure you can go to their website and it would tell you when it airs.

on the food network, i really like Everyday Italian and, on occasion, Barefoot Contessa.
Giada de Laurentiis (i think that's how you spell it) is the person who is on Everyday Italian, and she's really good at explaining what she does. Also, the food she makes always looks delicious!
