Was thinking of getting this for my frogs, guppys, female betta, neno tatra, and platies. and also for my other tank that has a shark, tiger barbs and swordtail. I think i would give it to them as a treat. They already get frozen briane shimp and bloodworms along with there flakes?

According to the San Francisco Bay website, theirs is good for freshwater fish (Hikari specifies marine fish for theirs).

The only concern I'd have is the amount of salt in the cubes if the plankton are obtained from a saltwater source. I'd thaw it in a separate container, then rinse it out through a brine shrimp net to avoid adding salt each time you feed the fish.

I've never fed my fish plankton, but I have used the brine shrimp and blood worms. I'd definitely recommend blood worms. They come frozen and they thaw easily. The fish seem to love them and they provide protein, which a lot of flake food lack. They are cheap and last a long time too. It's good to have variation in what you feed your fish, i.e. not jsut flake food but some protein like the blood worms or brine shrimp and some vegetable matter as well. Hope this helps!

good hardy fish are Mollies, Guppies, Platys, and Swordtails. they're all livebearers, even inspite of the actuality that they are ultimate beginner fish, they breed like loopy! So consistent with probability now no longer those.... because your pondering getting larger fish, consistent with probability particularly some those: One common Pleco, 5 Corydoras, 5 super Zebra Danios, 3 Kissing Gourimis (sp??) and a few eco-friendly Tiger Barbs. in case you like some smaller fish attempt those: 3 Balloon Mollies, 4 Albino corydoras, 5 Zebra Danios 5 Cherry Barbs 6 Pristella Tetra 6 Neon Tetras (elective) a million-2 Angelfish.(Koi Angelfish are perfect!! I used to have one) which may be an wonderful set up. (the two!) good success with those fish!!!!
