No, Mr. Bush does not think he made a big mess of things. The next generation of terrorists would just continue the "new terror tactic" that appears to be "invincible" to cause great destruction. All we can do now is to just resign the war and hope that the "new order" in Iraq is freedom. =<)

I hope the President seizes this moment for a basic change in course and signs the bill the Congress has sent him. I will respect him greatly for such a rare act of courage, and so too, I suspect, will most Americans.
It is the stay the course failure, or a national effort to get out of this mess.

I tell you their is one trait that Bush excels at like nothing else & that's his ability to shrug off any & all criticism directed at him. The guy never seems to lose sleep or feel the pressure of the responsibilities he has to the American people & more importantly the US troops in Iraq. It's almost as if he has been brain washed not to feel any pain or anguish. It's kind of freighting the way he tunes everything out. Almost like the movie "the Manchurian Candidate" & I hope to God he's not like that.

YES
He is laughing at the chaos in Badgag.
Like the time he invited Pelosi to lunch at the Whitehouse and served her a can of Chief Boyrdee Spaghetti.
He laughed so hard he blew snot. And yes it was televised.
