You get to go home early and brag about being a 1st or 2nd round pick. Your in the NFL and it doesn't matter when your drafted as long as you are. Look at Tom Brady, Jason Taylor, Marcus Colston, all late picks and now great players.

Manny Lawson went #22 and signed a 8 million dollar deal.
NOW:
Brady Quinn was projected to go at 3, but fell to 20. He essentially just lost at least 50 million dollars.
