activity at the park when you were a child?
I loved the swings the best. I got to swing and have a view of the whole LA Harbor.

The roundabout......i always lay down when the thing was going with my head hanging over the edge of it ,and when you tried to look under the roundabout(whilst its moving) you skelped your head aff the concrete ground...

i live in a little town in sw va and we dont have a lot of parks but i use to love this 1 swing cause u could face either way and i was to small to get on the " big kid " swings .aka normal swings

Definitely the swings. We used to see who could swing the highest then jump. Whoever landed the farthest away was the winner. Ahhh, to be young again. :)

There was a circular thing that you ran beside and when it got going good you hopped on - maybe 6 kids could ride at once. I want to say it was a merry go round - but I know that is what they call the ride at a carnival - this wasn't automated. We also had see-saws those were fun too.

*** i think my fave was the merry go round. i had a swing set at home and a slide and monkey bars so it was the merry go round that was the novelty. and i loved spinning til i couldn't walk straight. then u'd lay in the grass and watch the world spin by!
