Bread and Cicuses, my friend.

Rome only had the arena. We have hundreds of channels to numb our minds.

Have you heard the saying, "frogs boiling in water?"
It kinda means that in order for something to happen,
it has to be in a critical state.

In ancient times, people had no freedom and
their lives were controlled to the extreme,
by dictators.

Nowadays... the government doesn't
have as much control as it did as it used to.
Even if it is corrupt, people no longer care
because they have SUV's, homes, and freedom.

Until almost everything is taken away from us,
there is no drive for change until it is almost too late.

Sorry if it seems sorta cynical, but that's
my only explanation for it XD!

The revolution will be televised! Followed afterwards by LOST. Which is why no one will participate.
