Preferably in the kent area, or near there, rock and acoustic music is a must! would also like to know if anybody knows a good place where like minded musicians hang out and drink and discuss music in all shapes and forms.
Or any good bars/places in london which has varied acts would be nice to know.

try the smaller gig places in london such as the brixton academy, the astorian and kentish town, steer clear of wembly or earls court, theplaces are so huge you'll never get to hear or see much and will be better of watching stuff from the internet.
Also, buy a copy of tis weeks time out and see whats going on in london.

summerfest! world's largest music festivle, most varity. plus its in milwuakee. duh home of the beer. love it or leave it my friend it doesnt get any bigger than summerfest
