yes young kids can get a hold of their parents guns and would think its a toy and accidently shoot someone. thats why some guns have safty on it. are are hidden away from young kids to reach. its not about a bad kid, just a bad parent.

There has NEVER been a recorded case of a child TRAINED to use a gun properly accidentally shooting anyone. Long before they are capable of pulling the trigger, they can learn not to play with a weapon. I'm told blowing away a watermelon is very effective. As for deliberate shootings, any 'child' that will actually act on the desire to kill, doesn't need a gun.
Anyone who keeps a gun unsecured around ANYONE that doesn't respect the weapon is NOT a responsible gun owner.

Of course kids can find there parents guns and think there cool, show their friends and then oops someone is accidentally shot. Parents need to educate their kids at an early age at the seriousness and responsibility of guns and just guns in general. of course they should still use proper precautions like safeties, locks, gun closets or lock boxes, or just hiding the gun.
