leaks in the exhaust manifold are hard on your valves and your hearing, could be welded by someone who knows how to weld cast iron but probably cheaper to get another one at the junkyard.

Yes, you probably losing some mileage from what I can tell. I suggest investing in some higher quality manifolds or headers, newer and better headers usually give you better mileage. However I don't really suggest wielding it, could interfere with the air flow in it but I'm not sure.

you will get a false reading from you o2 sensor .
Any leak before the o2 sensors could could over fueling .
o2 reads oxygen more oxygen then it adds more fuel.
When it is not needed
Should just get a new one.
old could be warped cost you more in the long- run messing around.

louder noise, and you know you have a leak when you are driving and all of a sudden you start to drift to sleep from that monoxide that kicks in. Get it fixed quick

initially, you will hear it, long term you can cause some engine damage, and it wont pass smog.
