Yes, I'm talking about the original version, the "you know you make me wanna (SHOUT!)" etc. I'm trying to look up the chords for it, and it would help if I knew the original author.

Here's a quick history lesson, the original version was written by the Isley Brothers in 1959. As for finding the chords, I can't help you on that. The authors are as listed: R. Isley, O. Isley, and R. Isley. Yeah it was in Animal House and you might find the chords for that version easier since that version's still getting airplay today. As a footnote; Green Day sampled a bit of that song on their live CD; "Bullet In A Bible" Good Luck
