They were both empires that spread their influence over large areas and diverse groups. This made it far easier for the Spaniards to defeat both, since both had subjugated many peoples and had made many enemies, who were all too happy to rise up against their oppressors under the direction of the Spaniards (not realizing that the Spaniards were playing a completely new type of game and would be far worse to them in the long run.)

Incans were south america around peru, aztecs were central mexico.

Maybe that they were both ancient Central American civilizations that made important discoveries in the fields of mathematics and astronomy, and they both conquered the other peoples around them. They were also both conquered by Spanish conquistadors

I am not absolutely sure but I think they both were sun worshipers who practiced human sacrifices.

they had alot of similar living characteristics...Made art, had a written word,,religion, math and farming
